Swallow Cliff Woods March 12
Terrific turnout on Sunday, especially given the cold temps forecast for early morning. We continue to extend the cleared area along the Yellow Trail, pushing both north and east.
When we finished at Swallow Cliff, some of us were off to Sagawau for our Spring party. We were able to use the lodge which is a beautiful setting. It was a fun time and the tales of debauchery swirling in the party's aftermath are probably overstated.
Paddock Woods March 15
Monday night and Tuesday there was snow (beware the ides of March), giving the terrain a look we hadn't seen for many weeks. We had a pretty low-key day, doing clean-up in an area we worked on past days. High point was playing in the snow, and we had NO problem with fire containment.
