More sweet clover on the prairie at McMahon! Thanks to first-time volunteer Miguel for coming on a tough day, and to Emma who came on a Saturday after spending her week at Ted Stone with the FOTFP crew she joined July 1.
Black Partridge Woods July 15
We had first-time volunteers Ben and Emily (with Emily showing up two days later at Sundown Meadow). Thanks to them, to Rob Abrham of the Palos FOTFP crew for bringing Ben and also taking on herbiciding duty for the day. Others who helped included Ginger, Drew, Steve, and Brian.
Palos Hills Friendship Fest
Maureen Neidle, Doug Chien and I sat at a table Saturday afternoon, trying to spread the word about our activities in the preserves. Margaret Tobin and Carolyn Faber did the same on Sunday. Thanks to all for participating!
