Come meet Spears Woods on Saturday, October 8. Take a walking tour and discuss the plants and wildlife populating the woodlands and prairies of Palos. Get 'hands-on', if you wish, with a bit of seed collecting or brush cutting. Learn of leadership opportunities and ways to get involved.
Saturday, October 8, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
Meet at Spears Woods picnic grove, at 9022 South La Grange Road in Willow Springs.
We will have refreshments and introductions at 10 a.m., and the walking tours begin at 10:15.
