Explore Palos Park Woods
Buds are swelling and sandhill cranes are flying overhead. We think it must be spring!
Join volunteers of Palos Restoration Project at Palos Park Woods South on Saturday April 13.
Walk with us and discuss the plants and animals found here, and learn how
healthier habitat increases the diversity of both.
Learn of the exciting things happening in our local preserves, right now and throughout the year.
Get 'hands-on', if you wish, with a little brush cutting or plant identification. Have a snack and hear about leadership opportunities and ways to get involved.
Saturday, April 13, 2019: 10 a.m. - noon
Meet at Palos Park Woods South, on the north side of 119th Street,
three blocks west of 86th Avenue in Palos Park.
We'll have introductions and refreshments at 10 a.m., and the walking tours begin immediately after.
