This was our third week in a row pulling white sweet clover on the McMahon prairie, one I had to skip due to another activity. Now the sweet clover is closer to dropping seed, making its removal even more critical, so kudos to all attended.
While much of our sweet clover removal comes at McMahon, it's by no means limited to that site. I found some at Cherry Hill prairie yesterday and will be working on it this afternoon and tomorrow morning. The prairie at Sundown has far too much, and volunteers have helped tackle it the past two Tuesdays. It truly takes a village.
